COMPANY NEWS | RESPONSIBILITY AND COMMITMENT AMID RISING RAW MATERIAL COSTS

Release Time:

Mar 23,2026

Since January 2026, the prices of major raw materials in the tire industry have continued to rise sharply, creating unprecedented cost pressure for tire manufacturers. Natural rubber prices, in particular, have been climbing steadily due to tightening supply and recovering demand, driving procurement costs higher. At the same time, recent geopolitical uncertainties have further intensified volatility in the energy market. The rapid increase in oil prices has pushed up the costs of synthetic rubber, carbon black, and other key chemical materials, significantly increasing overall tire production costs.

Entering March, almost all tire factories have issued price adjustment notices, with increases generally ranging from 3% to 5%. However, this adjustment is still far from sufficient to offset the ongoing surge in raw material costs. For tire manufacturers, maintaining stable product quality and continuous supply under sharply rising costs has become a common challenge across the industry.

Taking carbon black—one of the most critical raw materials in tire production—as an example, the price increase has been particularly significant. Carbon black directly affects tire wear resistance, tear strength, and overall service life, making it an irreplaceable component. Recently, the price increase from leading global carbon black suppliers, including top-tier producers in the United States, has exceeded 20%, further pushing up the overall manufacturing cost of tires. This development not only impacts production but also places sustained pressure on the entire supply chain.

Against this backdrop, we, as a tire manufacturer and global supplier, remain committed to our responsibility and dedication to ensuring stable supply and supporting our customers.
Instead of simply transferring the full cost pressure to our customers, we are proactively taking multiple measures:

  • Optimizing raw material procurement strategies and securing key resources in advance
  • Strengthening long-term cooperation with core suppliers to ensure stable supply of high-quality materials
  • Continuously improving production efficiency to reduce overall manufacturing costs
  • Strictly enforcing quality control standards to maintain product performance
  • Optimizing inventory and delivery planning to ensure stable order execution

We fully understand that tires are not only essential consumables for the transportation industry but also directly related to customers’ operational efficiency and safety. Therefore, even under the current market environment, we remain committed to stable quality and reliable delivery, working together with our customers to address market challenges with a long-term partnership approach.

Looking ahead, we will continue to closely monitor the market trends of natural rubber, carbon black, and oil, and dynamically adjust our procurement and production strategies. At the same time, we will uphold our role as a responsible supplier, making every effort to minimize the impact of price fluctuations while ensuring product quality and service standards, and working hand in hand with global partners to navigate this complex and evolving market environment.
