In the tire production process, X-ray inspection is one of the core links to ensure the intrinsic quality of tires. 

It is mainly used to detect defects in the internal structure of tires (which cannot be directly observed by the naked eye) and is a key step 

in the "physical examination" of tires before leaving the factory.


Basic principle of X-ray inspection Tires are made of multiple layers of materials (such as rubber, cord layer, steel belt layer, wire ring, etc.), 

and the density of different materials varies. X-ray inspection uses the penetration of X-rays: when X-rays penetrate tires, 

materials with higher density (such as steel wire and cord) absorb X-rays more strongly, and materials with lower density (such as rubber and bubbles) absorb X-rays less. 

Finally, the detector converts the penetrated X-ray signal into a grayscale image. By analyzing the difference in grayscale in the image, 

structural abnormalities or defects inside the tire can be intuitively identified.

The importance of X-ray inspection
Ensure driving safety: internal defects are the main cause of tire failure (such as bubbles in the belt layer may cause tire blowouts when driving at high speeds), 

and X-ray inspection can intercept risky products in advance. Comply with industry standards: Both international (ISO) and 

domestic (GB 9743) tire quality standards require internal defect detection of key structures, and X-ray inspection is the core means of compliance.
Optimize production processes: By statistically testing data (such as a high defect rate of cord layer joints in a batch), 

it can be traced back to the previous processes such as mixing and calendering to promote production process improvements.
